The Good Shepherd Shelter - Playground Restoration and More!
CAYP has formed a community partnership with the Good Shepherd Shelter. We started out by doing some basic gardening work and it grew from there. While we continued to volunteer, we raised money to restore parts of their playground. CAYP received a generous donation from the California Nevada Hawaii District Foundation to help this project. In addition, Alan Olick Of general Plating donated his time and money to help us make this project possible. It was the largest project in CAYP's history and it's great to know that our work will always be on display for the kids to enjoy.
The Good Shepherd Shelter is a domestic violence shelter that protects women and children. They provide housing, support, education, and peace for these victims. CAYP is proud to be part their community.
